For my video assignment I did a cartoon animation with Derek and Boris. It's called Borisman, and it's about how Blobster fights him and King Ana. Our video was edited on Windows Movie Maker.
MY SKETCHUP MODEL
(House Exterior)
1. I made a Modern-looking house and colored it usuing some materials.
2. The hardest part was adding the materials on. The materials didn't work at first and they turned out to be pure colors, so I had to import and export the model twice. Also, coloring all the windowsills were pretty hard, so I left some of them uncolored.
3. I learned how to make 3-D items usuing push pull
I learned how to rotate things (Pretty tricky)
I learned that if Boris touches your model, you'll lose everything.
Internet safety is being safe on the internet. It's very important to not give out your personal information online, because many crimes are commited over the internet, such as stalking and identity theft, which is why many websites have a page about internet safety.
Tips:
- Avoid phishing, malware and viruses from sites/downloads.
- Avoid scams and downloads that require you to fill out a survey and leave your phone number.
- Avoid content unsuitable for underaged people.
- Don't tell your password to other people
- Try not to speak to people you don't know.
Keep your eyes peeled for online scams. Beware of spoof email claiming to be from eBay, PayPal, or a bank or a company you trust asking for personal or sensitive information. This is called phishing. The e-mail may inform you that there is a problem with your account/password. There may be a link to click inside. Forward any of these e-mails to the company it claims to be sent from. They will confirm whether the e-mail you received was real or not. Also, bear in mind that e-mail programs like Yahoo!, MSN, Hotmail and Gmail will never ask you for your e-mail password.
This video tells us the story of how a little girl thought that she was talking to someone her age over the internet so she gives out all her personal information to the person (who she hasn't even met). Little does she know that it is actually a grown man pretending to be a little girl, and at the end of the video, he arrives at the little's house and is probably going to kindnap her. This video proves how dangerous giving your information to strangers can be.
